Jyothika Saravanan (née Jyothika Sadanah born on 18 October 1977 in Mumbai) is an Indian actress working in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi movies. She gained recognition for her performances in Kushi, Perazhagan, Chandramukhi and Mozhi, winning three Filmfare Awards and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. She is likewise a beneficiary of the Kalaimamani award. Jyothika wedded her co star and actor Suriya in September 2006 in the wake of being in a relationship for a few years. She made a rebound in the movie 36 Vayadhinile (2015), which got great acclaim from the critics, particularly for her performance. Jyothika married actor Suriya on 11 September 2006, with whom she was cast within seven movies; Poovellam Kettuppar, Uyirile Kalanthathu, Kaakha, Perazhagan, Maayavi, June R and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. The couple have two kids, little girl Diya (born 10 August 2007) and child Dev (born 7 June 2010).
