Devayani born as Sushma Jayadev on 22 June 1974 at Mumbai, India is an Indian actress who has predominantly starred in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films, along with a few Kannada Hindi and Bengali films. She is married to Rajakumaran and this pair has two children, Iniya and Priyanka. Her brother Nakul is also an actor who starred in many movies. She received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for her performances in the films Kadhal Kottai, Surya Vamsam and Bharathi. Awards received are Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress, two Kalaimamani, ITFA Award for Best Supporting Actress, Big FM Tamil Entertainment Awards Most Entertaining Television Actress for Kodi Mullai, Frontrunner – Vivel Chinna Thirai Awards Best Actress for Kolangal.
