Sweety Shetty (born on 7 November 1981 in Hyderabad, Telengana), better known by her stage name Anushka Shetty, is an Indian on-screen character and model who works mainly in Telugu and Tamil movies. She made her acting debut through the 2005 Telugu film Super. She went ahead to star in various Telugu movies, for example, Vikramarkudu (2006), Arundhati (2009), Vedam (2010), Rudramadevi (2015) and Baahubali: The Beginning (2015). She got mainstream approval for her depiction of the title character in Arundhati (2009) and as Queen Rudramadevi which got her three Filmfare, one Nandi and three CineMAA Awards.
