Sivakarthikeyan born on 17 February 1985 at Sivagangai, TamilNadu is an Indian film actor and playback singer working in the Tamil film industry. He began his career as a stand-up comedian and television personality at STAR Vijay, initially participating in reality shows, including the stand-up comedy show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru and the dance competition show Jodi Number One. He is married to Aarthi and they have a daughter together. He grew rapidly in a couple of years from silver screen to kollywood and few of his awards are; Vikatan Award – Best Anchor for Jodi No.1, Vijay Award for Entertainer of the Year for Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga / Ethir Neechal / Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, SICA Award for Youth Icon, Best Entertainer of the Year – Kaaki Sattai.
