S. J. Surya (born S. Justin Selvaraj on 20 July 1968) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor, music composer and producer who has worked in the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries. Born in Sankarankovil,Tamil Nadu. He is a Bachelor till date. His movie Kushi, The Hindu featured the film as runner-up in their list of top Tamil films in 2000, while Jyothika went on to win the Filmfare Best Actress Award in Tamil for her performance in the film.
